When you copy a file where is it stored?

Have you ever think?

When you copy a file where is it stored?

Copying and pasting is so simple and helpful yet we don’t give it too much praise.

Is there some secret folder somewhere on the computer that houses temporary data when you copy something?

Or is it stored somewhere impossible to access?

SO……..

The Answer is

                “Clipboard”

The clipboard is the section of RAM where your computer stores copied data. Ii is a data buffer used for short-term data storage and/or data transfer between documents and applications used by cut , copy and paste operations and provided by the operating system.

Where is the clipboard on my PC?

Sometimes you copied something and you get distracted.

You may look at another tab and by the time you need to use that copied information, it’s gone.

But …… you can access your clipboard.

Interesting? But how?

If you use windows 10 you can easily see the clipboard history by pressing the

                             Windows logo key + V.
